Michael Premo is Executive Producer of Storyline a multimedia production studio. His work as an artist and journalist is highly collaborative and is expressed in multiple mediums including photography, film, exhibitions and theater. Current cross-platform projects include Water Warriors a multimedia exhibition and short film; and Veterans Coming Home a digital series for PBS that bridges America’s military-civilian divide. He’s a co-creator and co-director of Sandy Storyline, a participatory documentary that collects and shares stories about the long term impact of Hurricane Sandy in the era of a changing climate and increasing economic inequality. The project won the inaugural Transmedia Award from the 2013 Tribeca Film Festival. As an impact producer he spent the last few years working with Naomi Klein and Avi Lewis, helping design and implement a global outreach and engagement campaign for their book and film, This Changes Everything. He is an affiliate consultant for the Interaction Institute for Social Change and is on the Board of Trustees of A Blade of Grass.
